Shown is a sample of an original souvenir cover for the Presidential Inauguration of Barack Obama. It shows the US Capitol on Inauguration Day. An additional stamp will be added to this cover to make up the $.42 rate. The USA stamps will then be canceled with a special pictorial OFFICIAL Inauguration Day cancel at Washington, DC on Jan. 20, 2009. This terrific souvenir item will be suitable for framing. The cover was custom-crafted by Jack Ginsburg. It has an ungummed back flap, so it will be a long-lasting collectible. Fewer than 50 will be made like this. The envelope is unaddressed and in excellent condition. The red border is just to better display the item on eBay; it is not part of the envelope. Makes a GREAT gift. A total of eight different cacheted envelopes will be made. This listing is just for the one cover that is shown. Please see sellers store or Ebay for the other designs.
